The Sanctuary at Farm Hill

"LIFE, the way it should be."

Jamaica’s first affordable green and eco‑friendly gated community — now strategically positioned just 15 minutes from Ian Fleming International Airport.

Welcome to The Sanctuary at Farm Hill, a forward‑thinking residential community where sustainability, lifestyle, affordability, and international accessibility converge. This is not only smart living — it is smart positioning for homeowners, diaspora buyers, and investors alike.

Unmatched Accessibility: 15 Minutes from International Airlift

The Sanctuary at Farm Hill enjoys a powerful competitive advantage: close proximity to Ian Fleming International Airport (IFIA).

  • ✈️ Just 15 minutes to Ian Fleming International Airport

  • 🌎 Approximately 1.5‑hour nonstop flight to and from Miami International Airport

  • 🇺🇸 Ideal for overseas Jamaicans, North American buyers, frequent travelers, and investors

  • 🏝️ Convenient access to Ocho Rios, St. Mary, Portland, and Jamaica’s North Coast lifestyle hubs

This level of connectivity elevates The Sanctuary at Farm Hill beyond a residential community — it becomes a strategic lifestyle and investment destination.

Strengthened by Government‑Backed Airlift Expansion

Regional accessibility has been significantly enhanced following a major aviation development welcomed by Jamaica’s leadership.

In a previous press release, Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett welcomed American Airlines’ game‑changing decision to operate two weekly nonstop flights between Miami International Airport and Ian Fleming International Airport (outside Ocho Rios), starting November.

The announcement followed a high‑level meeting in Montego Bay between senior American Airlines executives and key Jamaican stakeholders, including:

  • Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett

  • Transport Minister Audley Shaw

  • Adam Stewart, Chairman of Sandals Resorts International

  • Donovan White, Director of Tourism

  • Delano Seiveright, Senior Advisor and Strategist

  • Gary Sadler, Senior Executive, Sandals Resorts International

The nonstop service will be operated by an Envoy E‑175 aircraft, seating 76–88 passengers in business and economy class, with flights scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Minister Bartlett described the route as:

"A very valuable addition to Jamaica’s aviation needs… a great start that will encourage other airlines to fly into the Oracabessa/Ocho Rios area."

He further noted that this connectivity will:

"Boost tourism development potential for St. Mary and Portland and connect many members of our Diaspora closer to home."

American Airlines — the world’s largest airline and the largest carrier of passengers into Jamaica — already operates multiple nonstop services from major US cities including Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Dallas, Charlotte, Chicago, and Boston, further reinforcing Jamaica’s global connectivity.

This expanding airlift directly strengthens the desirability, convenience, and long‑term value of owning property at The Sanctuary at Farm Hill.
